Liceul Ortodox Rpiscop Roman Ciorogariu, Oradea

Liceux Ortodox "Episcop Roman Ciorogariu" is a primary-secondary and vocational school with 700 students. We have 22 Romanian classes and 1 Hungarian class.

The school is located in the outskirt of Oradea, a beautiful city in the western pat of Romania. The age of students is from 6 to 18 years old. Their families are part of the medium socio-economic community, some students facing the situation of one or both parents working abroad.

In order to meet theirs and all students' needs, our school promotes quality learning which challenges all the studnets to value the importance and respect for themselves, for others and for the community. We want to provide learning programmes, such as this project, that are appropiate for present and future needs of our children.

With the help of this partnership, students will work their peers from different countries of Europe. This will be a good way of communication and students will see the importance of communicating in a foreign language too. It will be very motivating to learn and improve their English.

We are interested in learning new methodological approaches in English language teaching and classroom practice. Our school is open to new tools like strategies and techniques used in CLIL that are meant to improve confident fluency and learning styles. We have no experience in CLIL at all and we do need a lot of improvement in Oral English competences.

This project will help us implement a wide variety of activities and apply the methods analyzed with the school partners and learn from them.
